OBC reconstituted with immediate effect to solve the issues of OBC students and staff of SREC. The following are appointed as the committee members for duration of 2 year:

Roles & Responsibilities:
- To implement, monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy in the college and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programmes.
- To educate, enlighten and empower the students and staff of OBC categories in the university to make use of the facilities extended by the government.
- To motivate the OBC students to participate pro-actively in all the academic and non-academic activities.
- To ensure social relationship among the admitted students in the college and resolve issues, grievances, representations etc.,
- Explore redressal mechanisms and provisions for remedial coaching, counseling etc.,
- Coordination of equal opportunity, welfare and other schemes including financial assistance from the government and UGC.
- 7Conducts a workshop every academic year to introduce first year OBC students’ various scholarship schemes provided by state and central governments available for them.
- Conducts classes on life skills, soft skills, and personality development classes.
- Encourage students to take competitive exams like NET/SET, Civil Services, and other examinations.
