OBC reconstituted with immediate effect to solve the issues of OBC students and staff of SREC. The following are appointed as the committee members for duration of 2 year:

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. To implement, monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy in the college and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programmes.
  2. To educate, enlighten and empower the students and staff of OBC categories in the university to make use of the facilities extended by the government.
  3. To motivate the OBC students to participate pro-actively in all the academic and non-academic activities.
  4. To ensure social relationship among the admitted students in the college and resolve issues, grievances, representations etc.,
  5. Explore redressal mechanisms and provisions for remedial coaching, counseling etc.,
  6. Coordination of equal opportunity, welfare and other schemes including financial assistance from the government and UGC.
  7. 7Conducts a workshop every academic year to introduce first year OBC students’ various scholarship schemes provided by state and central governments available for them.
  8. Conducts classes on life skills, soft skills, and personality development classes.
  9. Encourage students to take competitive exams like NET/SET, Civil Services, and other examinations.
