SRET-AICTE IDEA Lab:

The AICTE IDEA (Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Academy) Lab is a flagship initiative of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) aimed at promoting innovation, design thinking, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty of technical institutions.

The IDEA Lab serves as a dynamic, hands-on learning environment where learners can engage with real-world problems and develop solutions using advanced and emerging technologies.

Sree Rama Engineering College, Tirupati, AP has been selected by AICTE to establish an IDEA Lab with a sanctioned budget of ₹90 lakhs.

Vision:

To strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh to support Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, Innovate India, Digital India, Smart Village, Start-up India and Make in India initiatives, through impactful hands on experience and learning by doing

To be a platform in Andhra Pradesh to facilitate to strengthen a culture where innovators collaborate to develop and disseminate products and technologies related to Bio-fuel, Bio-plastics, High-frequency electronic products, Internet of Things (IoT) Products, Electrical vehicles, Products operating using renewable energy, Machine learning, Data visualization, Drone Technology and Augment reality/Virtual reality (AR/VR) for agriculture and allied, manufacturing, tourism, IT and ITeS Industries.

3. Nurture Student Innovation: Provide mentorship and support for students to convert their ideas into viable products, solutions, and entrepreneurial ventures.
4. Empower Faculty and Research: Facilitate faculty engagement in emerging technologies, multidisciplinary research, consultancy projects, and professional development initiatives.
