Roles & Responsibilities:<\/h5>\n

  1. To implement, monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy in the college and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programmes.<\/li>\n
  2. To educate, enlighten and empower the students and staff of OBC categories in the university to make use of the facilities extended by the government.<\/li>\n
  3. To motivate the OBC students to participate pro-actively in all the academic and non-academic activities.<\/li>\n
  4. To ensure social relationship among the admitted students in the college and resolve issues, grievances, representations etc.,<\/li>\n
  5. Explore redressal mechanisms and provisions for remedial coaching, counseling etc.,<\/li>\n
  6. Coordination of equal opportunity, welfare and other schemes including financial assistance from the government and UGC.<\/li>\n
  7. 7Conducts a workshop every academic year to introduce first year OBC students\u2019 various scholarship schemes provided by state and central governments available for them.<\/li>\n
  8. Conducts classes on life skills, soft skills, and personality development classes.<\/li>\n
  9. Encourage students to take competitive exams like NET\/SET, Civil Services, and other examinations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
